Eleven Years and Counting...

Solomon Colors

Eleven years ago, Concrete Cares EMBARKED UPON a mission to help families who have found their loved ones stricken by cancer. Over the years we have paid rent, mortgages, utilities, car payments, daycare, and funeral expenses for families who face the reality of cancer in their lives and the financial burden that goes with it. With the arrival of fall, we’ve found SIX-YEAR-OLD Julianna Galloway diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. then on October 22, TWO-YEAR-OLD Tyler Charlton lost his battle with cancer.

We ask you to carefully consider helping us help them. These kids can’t fight cancer alone.

Please join us; your donation is needed and appreciated.

Tyler Charlton is 16-months of age and being treated for cancer at St Jude’s

The Charlton family lives near Fort Smith AR so travel and expenses for Tyler along with loss of work has a heavy financial toll on the family as Tyler continues chemotherapy treatments.

Tyler Charlton Update:

Tyler was diagnosed with cancer when he was 16 months of age, many trips from Fort Smith to St. Judes followed. The original diagnosis was he would not live to see his second birthday. On June 12, Concrete Cares and several families involved in concrete construction celebrated his second birthday, and it was thought he was cancer-free.

2 weeks later, we were informed that the cancer had returned and was terminal. He is undergoing surgeries next week as the Charlton family makes their plans for hospice care.

Nora

When our daughter, Nora was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, Concrete Cares supported us in incredible ways.

As a hairstylist and business owner, I’m only making an income when I can physically be at work. Our daughter required treatments out of state and it was impossible for me to continue working. With the substantial financial support by Concrete Cares, I was able to focus on the thing that truly mattered - the care of our daughter.

This was the toughest time of our families lives and we couldn’t have had the best advocates for Nora without their help! We are forever grateful for their physical and emotional support.
